Put briefly, CredLens is the national hub for verified non-degree credential data. We empower stakeholders to make informed decisions, enhancing education and workforce outcomes.  

CredLens is creating a national data trust for non-degree credentials focused on providing outcomes insights (employment, economics) for credential issuers.  These insights will enable education and training providers, certification issuers, and workforce agencies to make more informed decisions and drive meaningful change.

The CredLens Board

CredLens Advisory Boards

CredLens will be guided by three advisory boards, National, Research and Evaluation, and Technology and Security. Each board provides specialized insights to inform CredLens' work in the non-degree credential space.

National Advisory Board

The National Advisory Board assists CredLens in navigating the non-degree credential ecosystem and provides expert guidance, advice, and recommendations on matters related to the organization's activities.  The National Advisory Board consists of between seven and ten members, selected based on their expertise in relevant fields, such as education-to-employment, workforce development, and non-degree credentials.

Research and Evaluation Advisory Board

The CredLens Research and Evaluation Advisory Board, comprising seven to ten members, helps shape the organization's research agenda and activities in the non-degree credential ecosystem. Board members are selected for their credibility as published authors or research leads in education-to-employment, with expertise in translating credential data into economic impact models.

Technology and Security Advisory Board

The CredLens Technical and Security Advisory Board, consisting of seven to ten members, supports us on issues of privacy and security as well as technical architecture. This board provides expert guidance on CredLens' activities, drawing from members' expertise in education privacy, technology security standards, credential standardization, and data science.

Collaboration with Workcred

Through a partnership with Workcred, CredLens has gained valuable insights into the non-degree credential ecosystem.
